An international conference was held, organized by Tbilisi State Medical University, the Association for the Management and Development of Laboratory Medicine of Georgia, and the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Scientific Society: “Modern Trends and Future Perspectives in Laboratory Medicine Education Methodology and Clinical Practice.” The event was opened with welcome speeches delivered by the Rector of BAU International University Batumi, Irine Imerlishvili, and the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Irakli Natroshvili.
They placed particular emphasis on the development of medical education and the strengthening of international academic cooperation. As part of the conference, the Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at BAU International University Batumi, Professor Maka Buleishvili, presented a report on modern approaches to teaching laboratory medicine and its effective integration into clinical practice. The conference served as an important academic platform, bringing together Georgian and international specialists to discuss key issues in laboratory medicine education, research, and clinical practice.
