On March 24–27, 2026, a study visit and project working meeting were held in Koper, Slovenia, within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project LEADHEGA (Leadership Development in Higher Education in Georgia and Azerbaijan).
The event was attended by the Vice Rectors of BAU International University Batumi, Tea Mikeladze and Giorgi Tskhvediani, as well as the Head of the International Relations and Marketing Department, Elisabed Diasamidze. The event was hosted by EMUNI University and brought together representatives of partner institutions and organizations from Georgia, Ireland, Malta, Azerbaijan, and Slovenia.
The visit included research seminars and thematic discussions on contemporary leadership challenges in higher education. Leadership development modules were also presented, progress was evaluated, and experiences were exchanged regarding the program’s piloting process. As part of the program, participants were introduced to the leadership programs of IEDC – Bled School of Management and CEEMAN, as well as their experience in developing professional and leadership skills. BAU International University Batumi continues to implement joint projects and strengthen its global network.
