Master’s Program in Educational Administration

University Entrance Examination Components:

Program Overview:
This two-year program (120 ECTS) prepares administrators and leaders for the education system. Students gain expertise in educational policy analysis, institutional management, research methods, and the technological transformation of education. Special emphasis is placed on the use of AI and digital platforms in educational administration.

Admission Requirements:

  • For Georgian citizens: Successful completion of the Unified Master’s Exam.

  • For international applicants: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (recognized by NAEC).

  • Applicants from all academic backgrounds are eligible.

Admission Process and Timeline

After passing the Unified Master’s Exam, candidates are required to:

  1. Essay – on an educational issue of importance to the applicant (or provide a published article in a peer-reviewed journal).

  2. English Language Test (50%) – goal: establish B2-level competence.

  3. Interview (25%) – goal: evaluate motivation, professional objectives, and readiness.

  • English exam and interviews: September 26, 2025

  • Results announcement: September 27, 2025

  • Appeals: September 29, 2025

  • Final list: September 30, 2025

  • Financial registration: October 1–3, 2025

  • Academic registration: October 6–10, 2025

  • Classes begin: October 13, 2025


Document Submission Procedure and Requirements

Applications will be accepted from September 9 to September 25, 2025.

Required Documents:

  • Application form

  • Copy of ID document

  • Original or notarized copy of Bachelor’s diploma / equivalent qualification, or official statement from a recognized institution confirming degree conferral

  • Military registration document (if applicable)

  • Electronic photo (3x4)

  • Unified Master’s Exam card (printout from www.naec.ge)

  • Unified Master’s Exam results (printout from www.naec.ge)

  • English proficiency certificate (B2 or higher – IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert, EnglishScore) (if available)

  • Essay on an educational problem that demonstrates critical thinking, problem identification, and motivation for professional development (waived if the candidate presents a peer-reviewed article on education or educational administration)

  • CV and/or portfolio reflecting professional experience, educational background, civic engagement, and development activities


University Master’s Grant

The top 20% of admitted students (based on internal exam results) will receive 100% funding for the first semester.
To retain funding in subsequent semesters, students must maintain a GPA of 4.0 (91+).
