On February 28, a training session on Horizon Europe funding opportunities and the preparation of competitive grant proposals will be held at BAU International University Batumi. The training will be led by Professor Alexandra Mikhailidi. The session is intended for the university’s academic and administrative staff and aims to strengthen participants’ capacity in international grant activities.

The program will cover:

The structure of Horizon Europe and funding schemes relevant to the university

Practical approaches to building international partnerships

Key principles of budget planning

Structuring a proposal according to the Excellence – Impact – Implementation logic

The training will be conducted in an interactive format.

Participants will work directly on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, learn how to identify relevant calls, explore partner search strategies, and develop effective project ideas.
