An associate professor of BAU International University Batumi, Mrs. Gulnara Abashidze, participated in the Erasmus+ academic staff mobility program and visited Lithuania, where she took part in an international program organized by the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences entitled “Locally Engaged, Globally Connected.”

Within the framework of the mobility, Ms. Gulnara delivered lectures at the host university on the topic of the organization of primary healthcare and training programs for family doctors in Georgia. The visit also included an official meeting with the Director of the Department of Family Medicine, Professor Leonas Valius.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint scientific and research projects, as well as the importance of sharing academic experience and strengthening international partnerships. The Erasmus+ program provides an important opportunity for the professional development of academic staff and the internationalization of higher education. In this context, BAU International University Batumi continues to strengthen bilateral relations and integrate into the global educational space.
