BAU International University Batumi participated in the BIOMED2026 International Multidisciplinary Conference, held in Shekvetili from May 31 to June 2, 2026. The conference's main theme, “Biomedical Science and Innovation for All,” brought together scientists, researchers, and members of the academic community from various fields to exchange knowledge, expertise, and innovative ideas. During the conference, BAU International University Batumi presented the following scientific studies:
“Balancing Physicians’ Professional Autonomy and Patients’ Rights in Modern Healthcare Systems” – Irine Imerlishvili;
“From Compliance to Concentration: Analysis of Risks and Systemic Weaknesses in Medical Education Accreditation” – Giorgi Tskhvediani, Alexandra Mikhailidi;
“Internal Iliac Artery Ligation in the Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage” – Jemal Gogitidze.
As part of the conference, BAU International University Batumi was awarded a Certificate of the Moderator Organization, further highlighting the university’s active role in advancing international scientific collaboration and supporting academic initiatives in the field of biomedicine.
