BAU International University Batumi School of Medicine and Health Sciences sixth-year Medical Program students Tekla Darjania and Magda Danelia completed a clinical traineeship at the University of Florence, Italy, during the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

During their placement, the students gained hands-on experience in the Intensive Care, Pulmonology, and Vascular Surgery Departments, actively participating in a variety of clinical and educational activities. International clinical mobility provides future physicians with a valuable opportunity to gain diverse professional experience, strengthen their practical competencies, and become familiar with the unique characteristics of healthcare systems in different countries.
