On July 4–5, BAU International University Batumi organized BAU Sim Games 2026, the first large-scale medical simulation competition of its kind in Georgia, bringing together teams of medical students from universities across the country. Over the course of two days, participants demonstrated their professional knowledge, clinical competencies, and teamwork skills by managing realistic, high-complexity clinical scenarios.
The competition featured six simulation-based challenges designed around diverse emergency medicine and critical care cases, requiring participants to apply evidence-based clinical decision-making in time-sensitive situations.
Participants' performances were assessed by internationally certified simulation instructors in accordance with predefined evaluation criteria. Following the completion of the competition, the evaluation process involved both the instructors and the participating teams' mentors, ensuring a comprehensive and objective assessment of each team's performance. BAU Sim Games 2026 once again highlighted the vital role of simulation-based medical education in developing clinical competence and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration. The event further reinforced BAU International University Batumi's commitment to advancing innovative, practice-oriented medical education and fostering excellence in healthcare training.
